RHONJ: Melissa Gorga
The Next Celine Dion?...Or NOT?
By now viewers of Bravo reality series RHONJ know very well new housewife Melissa Gorga. She made quite an entrance this season as the "not so nice" sister-in-law of every bodies favorite "Jersey girl", Teresa. Since the beginning of the season Melissa has made it clear she isn't a fan of the "Fabulicious", fearless Gorga family and insists aside from her husband Joe Gorga) they have made it hard for her to feel a part of the family. Previous to this season Teresa had no intentions of airing her dirty laundry , so to speak, and never breathed a word about the feud between the two families. However, Melissa barely had her five minutes of fame before she made it clear to fans her feeling towards Teresa. The two have since sat together to try to mend family drama and disputes, but it still seems tensions are higher then usual and fans feel there's still feuding to come in the future. What will happen in the season to come, only the housewives truly know. We will just have to watch to see where the two families wind up.
Besides the feuding families, fans were also given the fact that Ms Melissa aspires to be a singer. During an episode this season her husband Joe, shushes the children so sweet Melissa can sing her unique version of long time Bible hymn "Amazing Grace". Most of us who have heard the hymn before haven't exactly heard Melissa's "special version of the song in where she replaces the word "wretch" with the word "wench". Some may say it was an appropriate exchange of words since fans aren't exactly sure if the housewife has the best of intentions when it comes to her relationship with Teresa. None-the -less despite the humorous word play the housewife went forth exploring avenues for her "talent".
In last nights episode Joe ( Melissa's husband) decides that he will deal with Melissa's dream of becoming an aspiring artist by building her her own studio in the families basement. Gorga believes his wife has a place at home with her children as a mommy and making money as a musician should come only second fiddle to him and his children. Apparently the construction will continue and Joe decided that building his wife a studio for her singing was still a good idea.
Melissa invites a buffet of music talents to the Gorga house to hear her new single "On Display". The song is somewhat of a project in the works but if viewers watched a snip it of the song during "Bravo Andie's" after show, we see the reaction of the audience was NOT exactly what one would call one on the positive side. Still her family and friends insist she has an amazing gift, but we just haven't apparently heard it as of yet. Joe Gorga has said that his wife has got "the whole package" and in her defense, there are many famous artists in the world today who have made it simply because of their good looks, the fact they can carry a tune and a little thing we'd like to call electronic enhancement. fans of the RHONJ will just have to see if Mrs Melissa Gorga has what it takes to become the "super star singer" she apparently thinks she is. We'd like to know what you think. Give us your vote. Is Melissa Gorga talented? Does she get SNAPS for super star singing abilities? or does she get the big GAG thumbs down for NO talent at all? I feel so bad for Teresa cuz you are exactly right, Teresa had no intentions of dragging out her family issues, Melissa came on the show and started on thr sh--.Shes a fame whore and has NO talent. I vote NOT 100 times

ReplyDeleteGood cripey- NO!!! She sounds like shes singing in a high school play. She would have to stumble on a producer with a catchy tune and she would need tons of background studio to help her voice out. Same way Kim z got help on her song.

When she compaired herself to Celine Dion I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. Poor teresa I feel so bad for her to have a siterinlaw like her. Whats up with her stupid sisters too?
ReplyDeleteyou guys are so judgemental! Melissa isnt Teresas favorite person but the only 2 people it involves is the two of them. Everybody needs to back off of Melissa and even though I like Teresa maybe you should all realize that Teresa isnt innocent in the fights either. As far as singing goes I just dont think we have heard her sing that much but shes not that bad.
ReplyDeleteI find it hilarious that from day one Melissa tried to come off as "real" But the more she talks and walks the more her fakeness comes out. Lets start with the first thing that comes out of her mouth. Her ACCENT?!?!LOL WHY IS SHE TALKING LIKE THAT???She's from Toms River,NJ which is down the shore.. "South NJ" they Do Not Have Thick Accents!!! They Do Not Talk Like Teresa!She tries to talk,act and look like Teresa... Listen to the way she talks!!! Its very OBVIOUS. She gets her hair styled like Teresa 100 % to look like T, she tried wearing hats like Teresa.. Its really not a common style people rock in Central and South Jersey especially down in Toms River. Toooo GAWDY. T was just being Her Gawdy Self She's an Off The Boat Italian From NORTH JERSEY it works for her- A Product Of Her Upbringing Environment. MELISSA IS FROM DOWN THE SHORE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT UPBRINGING. She dresses like Teresa THE DRESS SHE WORE ON THE RYAN SEACREST show was the same dress as Teresa's purple dress on the cover of T's Fabulicious Book just a different color light pink, her name on Twitter had the underscore like T's did until she recently changed it. And her name on her website with the little diamond dotting the letter I is the same one on TERESA'S WEBSITE The list goes on and on GET REAL MELISSA! UNORIGINAL!!!NOT A GOOD ROLE MODEL. SHE NEEDS TO STOP TRYING TO OWN TERESA'S PERSONALITY & LIFESTYLE
